が引き合いに出されている

世の中にはびこる
「愚か者」や「とんま」を追い立て
彼らを正そうとする

だが、そうしている本人だって
自分の生計を立てるため
つまりは、愚かさから逃れられない

詩の作者が
「最も真面目な」人間を雇って
賛美の歌を叫ばせようとしているのは
この皮肉な状況を象徴している
