ただし、ビアスが紹介する例のように、

と見出しをつけ、
オルガンを演奏しただけの人物に
大げさな敬意を払うことで、
ジャーナリズムの過剰な修飾や
お世辞を皮肉っていると理解すべきだ

この種のユーモアは

特徴を反映している
